Here are my thoughts on a strong mayor system: it requires a strong leader. Right now, we don’t have one. You deserve to get the most out of your city government. That means electing a Mayor willing to roll up her sleeves and work with everyone to solve our toughest challenges.

Minneapolis deserves a public safety system that puts residents first: timely responses and intervention that prevents harm and protects victims. As your next Mayor, I will work vigilantly to provide safety to all residents and lead with accountability: emilykoskiformpls.com/provide-safety…

I wasn’t MIA. When it mattered the most, I showed up for our teachers and educators. Strong schools make a strong city, and that starts with creating fair, safe, and supportive working conditions in our classrooms.

Relying on your veto pen is the mark of a weak mayor. Real leaders work through differences to build consensus. That’s how we strengthen our economy, address our homelessness crisis, and improve our safety systems. Minneapolis can’t wait. As your next mayor, we won’t have to.

"Minneapolis spent $330k clearing encampments during last half of 2024" City Council last year voted to require reports on the cost and other data related to encampment closures. The first report will be presented in committee on Thursday. mprnews.org/story/2025/03/…
