The scenes and chanting outside the Opera House last night are abhorrent. At a time when there should be solidarity with our Jewish community, they have been subject to appalling abuse. I am seeking an urgent explanation of how this was allowed to happen.

My son aced NAPLAN but came home disappointed with his iCAS writing result (he didn't even do that bad). He said it was based around the saying "two peas in a pod" and he didn't know what it meant. I grew up in an ESL household and was encountering new idioms well into my 20s.
