A fabulous day in #Sheffield supporting their voice of the child work in children’s services.

I spent the day in Sheffield with a group of practitioners as they roll out their voice of the child project. This is of course serious business, but we still made sure we found the time to try and understand what it feels like from a young person’s perspective! #voiceofthechild

When debate turns to violence to silence it’s not just alarming, it’s a warning. Dialogue and disagreement are the backbone of decent democracy. Silencing with force is deeply worrying.
