What was the first movie that woke you up? Like, your life was a skipping record and you saw a piece of art and realized you needed to live more and be more? Mine was American Beauty. I had to sit down outside of the theater by myself for hours and take it all in.

So @Medium and @ev, I have an idea. What if you have a pay it forward model for gifting @Medium subscriptions? And other people put themselves on the waitlist (and maybe apply?) to receive one? Raising my hand to be the first to gift one if you make it possible!

I think one of the best things you can gift someone is increasing the quality of the thoughts and ideas that fill someone's mind. Then I asked myself, well who does want a membership but can't afford the $50/year? That's who I want to gift it to.

Someone asked me recently if my @Medium membership is worth it and my answer is a full on YES. I have been a member since June 2017 and tbh at first it wasn't, but I was patient because I believed in @ev's vision.
