I'm not here to preach about the role of functional wellbeing or how you should ditch your HRT in favour of a holistic approach to menopause. I'm here to help support you while you navigate your menopause and this can be done in conjunction with your HRT or on it's own.

Let's talk midlife leaks 😉 Research said that a women's brain disconnects from her pelvic floor after menopause as it perceives its no longer needed! So as strange as it seems start connecting with yours - you need to reassure it that it's very much needed!

Racing thoughts; over-thinking; difficulties concentrating; feelings of dread; irritable...are just SOME of the mental symptoms of anxiety that I want you to be aware of. THIS is why we need to talk, acknowledge and address anxiety as much as we can.

During the Menopause dryness is often an issue due to a decrease in oestrogen levels. So drinking 8-12 glasses of water a day can help with these symptoms AND can also reduce any bloating. My advice is to use a water bottle and set reminders on your phone.

I may be biased BUT I've personally & professionally seen the huge benefits that exercise can have on Menopausal symptoms💜 Exercise such as Pilates, walking, cycling helps improve energy and metabolism, healthier joints and bones, decreased stress, and better sleep🫶🏼!

@emma_tuffey Crisps were a mahoosive no-no for me, Emma. They triggered my night-sweats! And when I shared this in a talk last week it seems I wasn't the only one 😂 Tracey

A natural remedy for Menopausal symptoms that I found useful was avoiding trigger foods. Start keeping a food & symptom diary. This makes it easier to see which foods are your triggers & which ones you need to reduce or avoid. Common ones are caffeine, alcohol & spicy foods 😘

One of the best things I ever did when I started my menopause journey was talking to those around me. Listening to others, sharing experiences and just knowing that I was not alone was incredible. I felt empowered and in control of my body again and that's an amazing feeling.
