My dad has been in @barnshospital for his hip replacing today- 15 years it took me to get him here, complete fear of hospitals after my mum died. The care has been absolutely outstanding every step of the way ⭐️ I feel privileged that this is our local hospital 👏

A week later and after more false promises of support I’m sent right back to square one 🤷‍♀️ customer services also tell me that your smart meters aren’t proof of use - please tell me what other options I have than the ombudsman @BritishGas ?

Absolutely depicted true to life @BT1DUK - as mum of a type 1 12 years old and a type 1 myself I pray everyday for a cure. One day I hope we feel this peace. Keep going, we’re so grateful for all you do 🙏🏼👏

@TheGodfatherUk @BritishGas Yes I do, but the issue is they won’t input the meter read into the system. It’s about them changing the billing system not the meter. Will see if I get any further today 🙄 I wouldn’t put anything on here unless I was at my wits end with it

@emmarob83 @BritishGas So you had a new meter fitted? If so I don't suppose you happen to have the reading it was taken out on?

@TheGodfatherUk @BritishGas Thank you for that. I’m honestly out of patience, they are saying my bills are £700 + a month. I’m never home and have a small home 🤷‍♀️ my gas reading was migrated wrong and all they do is tell me to send a reading in a week every time I call which won’t solve that issue 🤷‍♀️

@emmarob83 @BritishGas Ask for a deadlock reference and go to ombudsman. Will cosy British Gas / Centrica to just generate one and they'll eventually roll over as its a fine when they have to generate one plus dealing with the complaint. Good luck

@BritishGas absolutely appalling customer service. My bills remain wildly inaccurate, been in this position for 12 months and I am no further forward. I have a very kind and helpful engineer at my address yet even he can’t get customer services to help! Shameful!
