why is everyone so mean to airdrop farmers clicking testnets, doing quests, and bunch of stuff is actually a lot of work and drives the numbers you need for investors, mainnet launch, exchanges, brand awareness, getting projects interested in your ecosystem, etc etc gives you so many benefits yea, you can argue that those are vain metrics and not the "quality" ones or not what keeps the eco or network sustainable but it takes you from A to B so you can proceed to C ofc, there's bunch of creeps and mentalheads but hey, it's internet, the world and the human species doing these quests takes time, committment, grit, consistnency a lot of consistency i tried once, and realized don't have the patience lol only airdrop i got is a passive one and 80 bucks🤣 ye, they are farmers for tokens but chains farm the farmers and transactions to get the numbers they need to build the name and climb the leaderboard so, there is trade off there we've had bunch of farmers, and many of them converted into community members who show up every day, and are the voices of Somnia many of them dumped day 1, and gone forever, and that is okay too you can't win everything and everyone but you can get the most out of it don't underestimate those who help you on the journey appreciation goes a long way btw, s5 is on, and is the alpha

2002 was the year I quit school at 11 years old My family were dirt poor, we were 4 brothers and 3 of my brothers were already working part time at the age 13-17 to support themselves Most of our "good" food came from the fast food restaurants where my brothers were working night shift - they took back home what were supposed to be thrown away (hid the food beside the rubbish bin) I was the youngest, decided to quit school to start working, first job knocking door to door as an ice cream man (boy) Fast forward 11 years later at 22 years old after working in dozen of jobs from fast food restaurant server to sim card seller to construction to wine seller to setting up my e-commerce businesses and many more - I decided to move overseas with a bit of money to start some businesses My business partner and I tried many things from electronic retail shop to bar to cafe to motorbike helmets and so on - 4 years later after all the extreme ups and downs, we decided to call it a quit and sold the business away. I started looking into Crypto and went into it full time at 26 years old with 4 figs I went from 4 figs > 5 > 6 > 4 > 3 > 5 > 6 figs in the span of 8 years 6 out of the first 8 years - I was living in 4 countries alone by myself where the cost of living were between $150-$500 just so I could keep my spending low while learning as much as I can out of web3 I was by myself in overseas during the entire Covid period and also had to went through every market crashes entirely alone - I was left with low 4 figs during black Thursday covid crash - genuinely thought it was all over for my crypto career. Now at 34 years old - after grinding for 23 years I have an amazing beautiful wife, almost 7 figs, a roof under my head and generating 5 figs monthly from web3. This is life - it's like a rollercoaster. You go up one moment, then down the next. If you got rekt today - remember that we can start all over again from nothing much but we will and can achieve our dreams again in the near future Slowly but surely.
