To be completely honest, this is my first time learning Python, and I prefer it to JS and C#. Anyway, I ask AI for help, so it loops. Please, I need your feedback on this project #python #programming

𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 "𝐡𝐢" 𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞.
i used to do this all the time. slide into DMs with just "hi" or "hello" and wait.
and wait.
and wait.
most times? no response.
here's why "hi" doesn't work:
you're making them do all the work. they have to respond, ask what you want, pull the conversation out of you.
and most people are busy and they don't have time for that drama.
i learned this the hard way.
i was trying to reach out to potential clients. other creators. people i wanted to connect with.
"hi" → left on read.
"hey" → no response.
"hello, how are you?" → silence.
then i changed my approach.
instead of "hi," i started with value.
"hey, i saw your post about [specific thing]. here's what i think..."
"i noticed you're working on [project]. i actually built something similar, would love to share what worked for me."
"your content on [topic] helped me with [specific result]. just wanted to say thanks."
response rate? went from like 10% to 70%.
here is what actually works:
show you paid attention. mention something specific they posted or created.
lead with value. give them a reason to reply.
make it easy. don't make them guess what you want.
be real. not a template. not generic. actually human.
"hi" is lazy. it says "i want something from you but i didn't care enough to think about how to start this conversation."
and people can feel that.
so if you're trying to network, get clients, build connections - stop opening with "hi."
start with something that shows you actually care. something specific. something valuable.
people respond to effort. not to "hey."

Wow, my first UI/UX design got 1K views!
I guess I'll start documenting my UI/UX journey, do the same for my full-stack projects, and also drop links. #WebDesign #UIUXDesign #Developers

@Emmski383277 This is great! I would reconsider the black text though. It makes it hard to read cause of the contrast. But solid work👊🏾

I’ve been wanting to learn UI/UX design to become more resourceful in the tech industry, so I downloaded Figma and designed a Local Food Delivery landing page, my very first step into UI/UX. Please what do you think ??
By the way, I’m Emmski, a full-stack website developer. #UIUX
