During my today’s talks with French President Emmanuel Macron and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, we discussed, among other things, the situation in the Middle East. It's important that our views coincide. The main goal is to avoid further escalation in the region and save as many lives as possible. All sides must care for civilians, particularly women and children, who happen to be in the war zone. If the number of victims continues to climb again and again, this will be one of the worst-case scenarios. It should be avoided.
