After the feud with Finn Dom's next feud is with CM Punk. First, because their storyline goes back to when Dom was 14 years old. How often can you capitalize on a story like that? Second, the story naturally progresses to Dom blaming Punk for Finn turning on him. But mostly b/c I think Punk has been pushing internally to have an angle w/ Dom. Dom is the favorite to win MITB this year. And for that reason Dom needs to go over Finn at WM. Partly because Dom is moving to the main event, but mostly because Finn likely wants to put over Dom.

Tried to nerf the reaction by not playing Dom's theme and playing Finn Balor's hand-picked headass Judgment Day theme...and STILL got the pop/cheers as soon as they saw it was Dom & Liv. Honestly don't know how well this feud is gonna work out for Finn 😂 If it wasn't for the storyline they've chosen to go with the fans would be chanting for Dom. They want to cheer him so bad. They still might depending on the city. That's why it was ALWAYS a risk for Finn to go babyface. Nothing is worse for a face than the heel getting the cheers in the feud. WWE probably should have just followed the fans' natural progression of cheering Dom. Probably would have worked out better for Finn.
