@footy_nordic Watched it on the fledgling Channel 5. Terrible reception. Interference and 'snow' on the screen. Impossible to tell what was going on. It was like being there.

🇳🇴🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 This Nordic v London talk has got me thinking about maybe one of the most famous of all time. 🔴 Tromsø 3 v 2 Chelsea 🔵 - Oct 1997, Cup Winners Cup Quarter-Final 1st leg. A match which took the term “Home advantage” to the next level. Manager Ruud Gullit demanded that the game was called off throughout the match due to the absolute blizzard taking place. The big names of Chelsea were simply not prepared for the cold. Would love to know if anyone on here went to the game and what they remember about the day?
