we've seen cancer cells turn back to normal cells, a cure for pancreatic cancer, cancer might be a parasite, a cure for HPV, alzheimer's might be type 3 diabetes - all in the last week bullish on a longterm illness-free world, we're going to have so much time for activities

just spent two hours crafting a thought, only to realize I didn’t agree with it anymore. this is one of many reasons the act of writing is so important, and should never be outsourced. thinking hones your writing. writing hones your thinking.

If you think about it, plastic is such an Ahrimanic material because it's made of ancient dead matter and flesh that has been brewing inside the crucible of earth and is discovered by humans after thousands of years, used in order to create "unnatural" objects. Only to end up infecting us slowly, reducing fertility and causing heath issues. Even the way it behaves when heated looks demonic tbh... as if it's returning to hell...

Even stranger is that when the tomato did arrive in italy in the 16th century, it was met with total suspicion. botanists correctly identified it as a member of the nightshade family, alongside toxic plants like belladonna and mandrake. for almost 200 years, it was used almost exclusively as an ornamental garden plant (called pomo d’oro, or golden apple) and widely considered poisonous. this staple of italian cuisine was first a toxic curiosity.

Can you even imagine a pre-tomato Italy?! Weird to think that the entire history of the Roman Empire was tomato-free. 🍅 🇮🇹 🚫
