This SACCO alleged 'fake news story" looks like a badly run government experiment, where someone released a very specific idea into the public space, watched Kenyans panic, then ran back to call it fake news after the reaction became hotter than expected. If this was a communication mistake, it was reckless, and if it was a test balloon, it failed badly, because Kenyans have made it clear that government should keep its hands away from SACCO funds, M-Pesa balances, bank deposits, pensions and every private shilling citizens still control.

If you can’t name the car dealership that you paid over 2 million for a faulty car, then it’s safe enough for us to conclude Mombasa car dealers threatened by Joan (whom you paid a fraction of the over 2 million) have bribed you to tarnish her name. @4Real_KE @theTravellerke_ I did iinspection of 6 cars before I finally found one. To be honest I fell in love with most units but they were turned down, till finally the 6th one passed. The inspector was just smiling when doing the inspection and he finally said hii ndio yako sasa. I was almost giving up.

The problem with most clients & not just @theTravellerke_ is that they ask you to inspect a car when they're already so in love with it that they're blind to the facts. You clearly explain that the car has serious issues that will be expensive to repair, but somehow they think you're just trying to fail the car so that they pay you for another inspection. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Meanwhile, the dealer already knows the car has those issues and simply offers an irresistible discount. The client and the dealer end up on the same side, and suddenly you're the bad guy. A short while later, the car breaks down. Instead of confronting the dealer, the frustration is directed at you. A car is an expensive purchase. It should never be bought emotionally. It should be bought based on hard, sometimes bitter, facts. We've always remained committed to doing the right thing. That's why we offer a FREE re-inspection if a client delays collecting a car after we've inspected it. If we inspect three cars for a client, we offer discounts on the second and third inspections. If we still don't find a clean unit, from that point onward we carry out inspections FREE of charge until we find a car that meets the client's expectations. If this is any indication, it raises questions about Sifuna's political support even in his own constituency of Bumula in Bungoma . No wonder ODM has not secured even asingle MP or MCA seats in Bungoma. If Sifuna chooses to create confusion within the opposition, he should be prepared to run on his own.
