Legacy politicians are jealous and envious of HE Peter Obi. Never in their wildest imaginations did they foresee that a man would be popularly accepted by common people without dollarization of the street. They will be put to shame.

Your region can’t move forward in Nigeria cuz all that you guys do is lie and lie and lie . If your so called messiah was sure of his base why couldn’t he wait and participate in the primaries ? How many people did he mobilize to the ADC to start with ? The whole SE states registered in ADC is equal to one state in the north and yet you nuisance want ticket to be handed over to him on a platter … we shall meet on Election Day . Let him just focus on his SE cuz he won’t get 3% in any northern state

The first frame is Atiku on AriseTV, saying that the coalition's first option is to work out a consensus. The second frame is Bolaji, the ADC spokesperson, on the same AriseTV, insisting that the coalition intends to have a consensus. The third frame is Peter Obi defending the prospect of a direct primary, sounding so boisterous and excited because he'd done his maths and fancied his chances. Does this sound like a man who was afraid of direct primaries? Mind you, these opinions started to become public after they'd gotten PO to join on the promise that a free, fair, transparent, and credible primary election would be held. Everything you've seen about primaries from the ADC started after it was exposed that they insisted on a consensus when PO's camp want direct primaries because they're trying to save face and claw back some lost trust. Also, I'm pretty sure you already knew all of this; but like I said, one day, you go gather liver.

If there's an ADC primary, then it's a lie that someone left because atiku refused primaries.

In January 2026 when Peter Obi ported to ADC from Labour Party, I did a piece on the futility of his move and predicted Obi’s eventual political unraveling. I here republish my write up : leadership.ng/peter-obis-lea…

The painful truth is that if Atiku does not win the 2027 election, he will likely retire alongside Obi. For both of them, 2027 appears to be their last real opportunity, although Atiku seems to be in a stronger position to win than Obi. However, if Tinubu wins, both of them may end up retiring at the same time. By the time power rotates back to the South, Obi could be approaching 80, and it is likely to return to the South-West. This is simply the reality.

Let’s face reality, If Peter Obi moves to NDC, his chances of becoming President end immediately. 2023 is not 2027. The Northern bulk vote Tinubu enjoyed in 2023 isn’t there anymore. If Obi runs under NDC, he and Tinubu will divide the South, while Atiku sweeps the North. That’s not strategy — that’s handing Atiku a gift and re-electing Tinubu by default. The North is watching. They’ve already labeled Kwankwaso a traitor for working against Northern interest. Obi will get the same tag if he fractures the opposition. This coalition drama has shown how naive some of us are about election math. We can’t bully or blackmail everyone into stepping down for Obi. Elections aren’t won on Twitter. The only realistic ticket that beats Tinubu is 7m + 6m = 13m: Atiku/Obi. Anything else is self-sabotage. It takes alliance to win, not just popularity. Obi has a cleaner path to Aso Rock as VP first, then President, than as a lone runner who loses everything. Clinging to “it’s the South’s turn” only helps Tinubu. Remember 2011. The North lost its turn after Yar’Adua died because Jonathan contested. That left them with an 8-year deficit. They won’t repeat that mistake. They’d back Atiku before backing a Southern candidate who ignores and disrespects them. Not out of hate for Obi, but because of that bitter experience. So ask yourself: Who’s really marginalized? Has “Southern President, Northern President” helped ordinary Nigerians? If Obi joins NDC, he’s kicking the ball into his own net. Game over.

@atiku should save his money and allow Amaechi to secure the ADC presidential ticket. We shall see how a divided southern-led opposition can truly challenge Tinubu.

He begged for money to travel to India for a kidney transplant and nobody helped but when he died many Nollywood actors showed up at his funeral to show fake love. They won't say they didn't see when he was dying and desperately begging for help. Sadly he is dead now. Brothers stop waiting for “later", prioritise yourself today. Save aggressively for your health and retirement. Build your own money so you never have to beg when needs knocks on your door.
