A detail for Stage 4. Pogacar gets a clear advantage if he wears his own skinsuit on Stage 5 ITT. Therefore, it was OK situation to give polka dot jersey away for the time being. It also makes sense if he's not actively pursuing yellow jersey on Tuesday. 🇫🇷#TDF2025

I’ve been watching Serie B consistently for over a year now and Serie C for about six months with a keen eye, so I can definitely give an authoritative opinion on them.
The caliber of coaching in both Serie B and Serie C is generally higher than in Serie A, especially when you consider the players they have at their disposal.
They coach better patterns of play with more precision than most Serie A coaches (excluding Inzaghi, Italiano, Palladino, etc.), when you factor in the inferior technical quality.
You’d be shocked at some of the buildup, third-man, and passing patterns these guys are able to implement. Some of the patterns you’d beg Serie A coaches to improve on are coached with high precision in Serie B and C even with lower technical quality at their disposal.
All the ideas are there and it’s one of the best learning environments imo because you get to see how different ideas are applied in a league with less technical quality.
Mistakes and errors are accentuated, which sharpens your awareness. You get to see the intent behind what the players are trying to do, how they execute it, and why they fail in certain scenarios.
You also get a clearer look at decision-making in 1v1s, 2v1s, 3v2s, etc., and can compare it to what teams at a higher level are doing.
The general efficacy is low (lots of mistakes), but you can easily extrapolate how these tactics would translate if these coaches had more technically gifted players.
If you’re serious about improving your understanding of the tactical side of the game, you need to start watching more Serie B and C.
The out of possession work in Serie C is absolutely woeful btw but again that’s a learning opportunity.
Got plenty of tactical and player analysis coming from these leagues, so hopefully it’ll motivate you guys to start watching them.
