@MrPunyapal Yeh, the questions weren’t frequent nor asked 😂. But most people are used to them for quick information before asking via email which might take time to respond.

@hanspagel We are drawn to it, sometimes because of ignorance and sometimes because of arrogance in the belief that we know better while indoctrinating our minds with higher order beliefs. True simplicity requires discipline and lots of trial and error which most devs won’t dedicate.

@davorminchorov Honestly I never encountered a difficult refactor scenario when scaling up from simple code to complex rather than the opposite. Refactoring unnecessarily complex code is orders of magnitude more difficult imo. I liked your post, it is hard to define which option is best 😅

@eneadm You can but it may be already too late for that. It wouldn’t be as easy to change the code as it would be to do it differently when you write the code the first time.

@MrPunyapal They are not thinking at all. It is just ChatGPT generated articles. My list of articles is filled with low-quality stuff like that. Its getting harder and harder to find real good ones.
