we're hiring a full-stack dev 👇 — 100% remote — $40-55/hour, paid in USD — stack: next.js 14, tailwind, node, postgres — bonus points for pixel-perfect eye and taste in typography what I'm looking for: — 2-3 projects you actually shipped — someone who handles frontend AND backend confidently — code with soul, not just code that works if your portfolio makes me stop scrolling for 10 seconds, we're talking this week. drop your portfolio in the comments 👇

Day 9 of learning backend 🚀 Today I focused on STRUCTURE. Not writing features yet… but setting up a scalable frontend architecture using React + TypeScript. Clean structure = faster development later. We build smart, not messy 🔥 #BuildInPublic #100DaysOfCode

I just finished building Prose, a Reddit-inspired blog platform in Go and React. My first build using go as backend open for corrections... GitHub → github.com/AboloreDev/pro… project link -> prose-blog-app-eight.vercel.app Here's what's under the hood: 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 (Go + PostgreSQL) → Repository pattern with interfaces across 7 repositories → JWT auth with SHA256 hashed refresh tokens + rotation → Token bucket rate limiting per IP → Scheduled post publishing using time.NewTimer + cancel channels Server restart? Timers restored automatically on boot → Non-blocking notification worker — buffered channel + goroutine Vote succeeds instantly. Notification saves in background. → Karma batching worker — collects vote events for 30 seconds then flushes with one DB write instead of one per vote → Graceful shutdown — signal.Notify + context.WithTimeout(30s). Background goroutines drain cleanly before exit → Nested comments via self JOIN → Vote toggle — up, down, switch, remove in one function → Dynamic SQL with argPos counter for PostgreSQL placeholders → Custom migration system no ORM, no framework 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 (React + Vite + Redux Toolkit) → RTK Query with silent token refresh → Optimistic vote updates → Preset avatar selection → Notification sheet with mark as read No framework. No ORM. Just Go's standard library.

Software engineers don't get paid to write code; they get paid to solve problems. The faster you realize this, the sooner you'll stop being afraid that AI will replace you and the better your career will be.

NO users care about your tech stack... They care if your product solves their problem well. Build for the user. Not for senior devs.
