#wba if the league started when mozza took over where would we be in the league now? Just curious
English

@spenna1988 Apparently there are dozens including the first Shaun Miller (Carlisle United) and two last season Owen Lunt (Crewe Alexandra) and Garath McCleary (Gillingham).

@enjaybeedotcom I wasn’t sure if anyone else had been done but 2 players in how many years is a joke
English

The EFL’s agenda against us is blatantly obvious. They decided we are getting charged and after 2 weeks of silence this is what they decided on. Just wondering was Dwight Gayle the only player to get a retrospective ban for deceiving a match official? #wba
English

@RoversXtra Acknowledging that it’s pure speculation and very few people know the real numbers but there’s lots of speculation that the £60m cost at #wba included the assumption of the debt and it was therefore more £20m net.

🗣️ Phil Parkinson is FUMING with referees costing Wrexham:
“If you give a penalty for that, you’re giving three or four penalties every game.
“I can’t believe an experienced referee has got CONNED really by Molumby. He’s thrown himself to the floor. Of course, there is contact but it’s only what you see in the penalty box all the time. Very, very harsh decision.
“You need help from referees and when you get a referee from the top level you expect better.
[Did you speak to Bobby Madley?]
“I have, briefly. The other thing I’m getting very frustrated with is the treatment Sam Smith has been getting.
“All you guys who watch us… Watford away, the amount of times he got hauled to the floor and blocked and body checked. I sent all of those incidents to the head of referees and he agreed with me on nearly every one.
“We then go to Sheffield United and Tanganga pulls him down, which is a straight red card and the free-kick gets given against Smudge. In the 53rd minute today there is a slide through pass that puts him through and Phillips just tugs him. It’s only a slight contact but it’s a red card and I feel Smudge needs more protection from referees on the whole.
“I’m going to send all those incidents together and ask the referees over the next two days to give me some answers. He’s had some bad decisions against him.
[Concerned calls could cost you?]
“Yeah, of course, I’m always in communication with Kevin Friend, the head of the referees, because he’s a great guy and he listens. But when the ref reviews those incidents tonight he’ll know I’m right and he’s WRONG.” #WxmAFC

Isaac Price’s reaction the the equaliser yesterday was odd. He barely moved. #wba

@wutenderman Plus Derek McInnes and the idea of Steve Clarke combining the role with his duties preparing Scotland for their first World Cup in 28 years.

@TiceRichard These funds belong to the current and future pensioners, not the government, so Reform will legislate to seize it? Then who will manage it, some hedge fund or venture capitalist? You think we are all stupid.
English

Britain already controls nearly £500bn in Local Government Pension assets, yet it is split across 98 separate funds with duplicated costs and no unified national investment strategy.
We should consolidate this in to a British Sovereign Wealth Fund, professionally managed with a clear mandate: deliver strong long-term returns while backing Britain’s economic renewal.
With a 6.5% target return, it could generate around £25bn a year for reinvestment into strategic industries, domestic energy, housing and infrastructure.
That is how serious nations build long-term wealth and economic security.

@TheLiquidatorP1 @JohnP_QB @GoldbergRadio Possible that there were early repayment penalties that were equal or more or less equal to the interest over the term.
English

@JohnP_QB @GoldbergRadio I'm puzzled why they didn't - assuming the terms of the loan allowed them to - because the interest rate is so high. That said, even if you are wealthy, you don't necessarily have £30m lying around - especially as they have already had to subsidise the club.
English

This isn't happy reading Baggies fans, but it's worth knowing, all the same.

@dcfcGeorge84 In 3 games, 300 minutes, this season you have managed 13 shots of which 3 were on target against the worst team in Championship history then?
English

@metal4always @sjpatel212 Ipswich were a really good side at the time and we beat them 4-0 in the return fixture. That team also got hammered at Sunderland the same season but they would never have turned in a performance like last night, there is no comparison.

WBA 1- Crewe 5 anyone for the more aged amongst us…?
Can’t remember much worse than this in my lifetime if I’m honest …

Still in full Private Frazer mode this morning #wba
I don't think I saw anything as bad as last night in the Saunders year and a half
