Well, a bit of a bloodbath for #AEP $AEP.L and peers today. Prob due a correction given recent run up so not too surprising given the news... obv AEP don’t export but there’s sig. knock on concerns Details remain to be seen re export rules, so let’s see what the future holds…

@wallstcass Yeah agree, although it is a little disappointing that a) we’ve not seen any drill results this year, and b) the timeline for the Segilola resource update has moved from Q1 to ‘this year’

Some nuances in DRC diesel prices (big tax burden) so not sure how much demand destruction we see in the region but yes it's a major part of costs Let's say its 40% and it doubles... It was a $15-16k ASIC before price related uplifts like higher marketing fees, royalties resulted in a soft "at spot it'll be $1.5k higher" So 40% of $15k is $6k? So let's call it $21k instead of $15k? And really more like $24k instead due to price related hikes That's fine...but the whole tin cost curve (Indonesia, Myanmar) is pretty diesel intensive...don't think they are dredging offshore Bangka with a battery powered boat Still a 20% dividend yield?

Have to say the Koala is legitimately surprised how much AlphaMoon $AFM.V has pulled back given LME tin price is $48-51k the past few weeks The marsupial goes on a high altitude mountain retreat for a week & doesn't comment about one news release and everyone panics? It's ~25% dividend yield at these levels

Investing is weird. I know a ton of people constantly looking for the next 10-bagger. Almost all have subpar results. Meanwhile the people who ‘just’ look for 30-50% returns are those that tend to find the 2x, 5x and sometimes 10x.
