CMF Watch 3 Pro - First Impressions! Design & Build : - CMF has changed the design language a bit with the Watch 3 Pro compared to the 2 Pro. They moved from interchangeable bezels to fixed ones, and personally, I actually prefer this more. Still keeps that unique CMF look though, but yeah, design is subjective. - The Orange variant feels like the “special” color this time. It looks funky, stands out instantly, and gets these orange dots with black engraved lines on the bezel at the hour markings, which the other colors don’t have. - Build quality feels really solid. The metallic build adds a nice heft and gives the watch a much more premium feel. Though personally, it didn’t feel heavy to me since I’m already used to heftier watches. - You also get color-matching liquid silicon straps which are easily interchangeable. The buckle quality feels good, and even the rotating crown is nicely done, it’s clickable and the rotation has actual functionality too. - The watch also comes with an IP68 rating, so it should handle dust, splashes, and everyday water exposure without any issues. Display : - They are using a 1.43” 60Hz AMOLED display here. Colors look good, the panel is sharp enough, and honestly, it serves the purpose well (not like anyone is gonna watch content on a smartwatch hehe). - Outdoor brightness is decent, while indoors visibility is absolutely perfect. In case you care about the numbers, it peaks at 670 nits brightness. - The bezels are noticeably smaller this time with a 91% screen-to-body ratio, which definitely helps the watch look more modern and immersive. Viewing angles are solid too, no complaints there. - And yes, the 60Hz refresh rate genuinely helps. The UI feels much smoother while navigating through the watch. Sports & Health Tracking : - The Watch 3 Pro comes with features like Heart Rate Monitoring, 131 Sports Modes, Sleep Detection, Blood Oxygen Measurement, Women’s Physiological Health Records, Stress Monitoring, All-day Step Count, Calories, Distance Tracking, Exercise Duration, Water Reminder, Stand Reminder, and more. - That said, I haven’t tested all of these features yet. I’ll try to properly explore and cover them in my full long-term review. - So far, I tested features like heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, step count, water reminders, calories, and distance tracking, and they were working quite well and felt fairly accurate in daily usage. - Also, one good thing I noticed: it doesn’t randomly detect readings on wood or other non-living objects hehe. Calling & Connectivity : - The watch comes with Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity. - Notifications come properly without any issues, and you can also send quick replies directly from the watch itself, which is pretty convenient at times. - While I personally don’t use smartwatches much for calling, I still tested it, and the experience was good enough. The microphones and speakers both work nicely for casual calls. Battery & Charging : - I’ve been using it quite heavily with high brightness, AOD enabled, calling, sensors running, and all that stuff. Even after around 2-3 days, it’s still sitting at 45% battery. Funny thing is, it arrived with 72% charge and I still haven’t even plugged it in yet lol. - So yeah, battery life is looking pretty impressive so far. I’ll talk more about charging speeds properly later after testing it fully. - For charging, it comes with a 2-pin magnetic charging cable, which honestly could’ve been better considering the price. Also, there’s no wireless charging support here. (1/2) 🧵

One of Samsung’s best features has to be Edge Lighting. It looks insanely good on curved display phones, especially when the phone is facing down. This is how it looks when someone calls me.
