Police violently grab Black woman by her neck—flip her over backwards head first onto pavement. She was standing with her hands behind her back—not resisting being handcuffed. All while at least 4 police officers surround the woman—pointing guns directly at her. "Oh, my God!" woman filming cries out. "I hate watching this police!" The incident occurred in Columbus, Ohio.

Schumer claimed the SAVE Act “appeals to only the most fringe element of the MAGA base.” CNN instantly put up the numbers: White Americans: 85% support voter ID Latino Americans: 82% Black Americans: 76% The anchor straight-up said: “Voter ID is NOT controversial in this country. Not by party. Not by race. The vast majority of Americans support it.” Schumer just called 76% of Black Americans, 82% of Latinos, and 85% of Whites “fringe MAGA.” They don’t oppose voter ID because it’s unpopular. They oppose it because it works. Time to nuke the filibuster and pass the SAVE Act.

The victim’s wife and a concerned neighbor called 911 in response to the defendants’ actions. The victim’s wife – whom the defendants targeted with racial slurs – and children witnessed the incident and suffered emotional distress. The increased traffic from onlookers in the ensuing weeks caused the victim and his family to relocate to a different county. The forced move significantly disrupted the education of the victim’s children. The victim’s 3-year-old son, who has a disability, lost several social and health care benefits that were tied to his former county.
