🇮🇳🇺🇸 Cisco’s Indian President Jeetu Patel fired 4,000 Americans. While 4,000 American families process Cisco's layoffs, Jeetu Patel is doubling down on 1,570 new Indian H-1B hires. Cisco rakes in billions from American taxpayers, only to fire 4,000 hard working Americans.

I've seen some confusion online on how to run llama.cpp with MTP (Multi-token prediction) in the simplest way possible. ICYMI, MTP is a new flavor of speculative decoding built-in to the model itself, that ~2x your tokens per sec for most use cases. 2x generation speed = Truly a game changer. 🔥 How to run it? brew upgrade llama.cpp # or you might need to install from source until build 9200 is in your package manager: brew install llama.cpp --HEAD Then pick either the Dense 27B or the 35B A3B MoE. Personally I tend to stick to the Dense model where I achieve ~30 tok/sec on my machine. The MoE is of course way faster at an impressive ~100 tok/sec on my machine. Truly rapid. ⚡️ In both cases you probably want 48GB or better 64GB RAM or VRAM, though 36GB might work with more strongly-quantized versions. # Dense: llama-server -hf ggml-org/Qwen3.6-27B-MTP-GGUF --spec-type draft-mtp --spec-draft-n-max 2 # MoE: llama-server -hf ggml-org/Qwen3.6-35B-A3B-MTP-GGUF --spec-type draft-mtp --spec-draft-n-max 3 Enjoy!

25% of current US doctors are not Americans. 25% were trained in foreign countries. US graduates 28,000+ medical students per year. US offers 44,000+ residency spots per year. Every year 1000+ US medical students don't get a residency spot. Foreign medical students take these spots plus the 16,000+ residency spots we can't fill with Americans.

Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the chances of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan are “pretty low,” over the next several years, “partly because Xi has other options open to him that involve far less risk.” “I don't think they want to go in and attack Taiwan. They don't want to destroy the very chip factories they want to take over,” Gates told @margbrennan, adding China could impose a blockade or quarantine around the island “anytime they wanted.”

Again, you’d think Yale accepted black students with a GPA of 1.20 but the gap between 3.88 and 3.98 is laughable. People are wild for this. And, remember it was just 44 black students compared 100s of white & Asian students.
Renu Mukherjee@RenuMukherjee1

Yale Medical School continues to discriminate on the basis of race, completely ignoring Students for Fair Admissions. In 2025, the median GPA/MCAT score for black matriculants at YMS was 3.88/518. For Asians, 3.98/524.

@kangminlee But are Asians as good as the Black players or are you asking for preferential treatment? At Yale, Black med students scored in the 90th percentile on MCAT. Are there Asian NBA players who stack up against Curry and Bron?

Just found the matriculation data for Yale. Guys, these numbers are really REALLY good. All groups. Every last one of these are overly qualified I assure you. There’s just simply not enough seats. Everybody can’t get in at the same time. That doesn’t mean they won’t ever get in. People applying with these numbers will eventually get in somewhere unless they have som horrific past

Yale School of Medicine Has a total of 553 students across All four classes. Total Black students: 44. That’s ~10 per class. Total Asian students: 157. That’s ~40 per class. There are nearly as many Asian students PER CLASS as there are Black students in the entire school. Black: 14% of America. Only 7% of Yale Med Asian: 7% of America. 28% of Yale Med. Who exactly is getting discriminated against here ? aamc.org/media/6131/dow…
AAGHarmeetDhillon@AAGDhillon

At Yale Medical School, a black applicant is 29 times more likely to be invited to interview than an Asian with equally strong academics.   Today, @CivilRights told Yale that its use of race in admissions is ILLEGAL—and that @TheJusticeDept will step in to enforce Title VI. justice.gov/opa/pr/justice…

President Trump wants to bring manufacturing back to the United States – but American industry is up against automation on an unprecedented scale. In China, state-of-the-art robots are working 24 hours a day. No breaks, no clocking out. Anna Coren went behind the assembly line to shed light on China's "dark factories" in the lead up to Trump's high stakes summit in Beijing.

Xi Jinping, leader of Communist China, says he wants his military ready to invade Taiwan by 2027. Taiwanese Ambassador Alexander Yui broke down how U.S. military engagements in Iran and Venezuela could shape Xi’s next move. “China has mentioned to the United States that Taiwan is the greatest risk factor between the relations of China and the United States.” “I believe that it’s the other way, and that the People’s Republic of China is the greatest risk factor for peace and stability in the Taiwan Straits.” “They’re the ones who are the aggressors.” “They're the ones who are militarily preparing for conflict.” “The People's Republic of China has engaged in the largest peacetime military preparedness in human history.” “I think that's unfounded because their borders are not under threat.” “With all the things that are occurring around the world, you mentioned Venezuela, Iran, and others… I think it shows a resolve from the United States to use the necessary tools to fix problems or achieve its objectives.” “And obviously there'll be a relevance or reference to that on the Indo-Pacific, in particular to the Taiwan Straits.”
