Honestly the real problem on this app is not even AI. It's humans. The rage bait, the "insider joke" lies, the misinformation, the clout chasing hoaxes, the manufactured outrage, the engagement farming fiction. All human-generated.

No one gets to decide whether what you made is real or fake. If you claim it's real, it's real. Period. The real problem isn't authenticity. It is that no one is enforcing accountability when claims turn out to be lies.

The real test of the AI age is not whether we can replace work. We obviously can. The real test is whether we can replace the social contract that was built around work. For centuries, your right to live decently was tied to your ability to sell your time. AI breaks that deal. So we need a new one. Basic needs should become rights. Ownership of automation should become universal. Education should become lifelong. Communities should become the center of life again. Status should come from what you create, discover, teach, heal, build or protect. A post labor economy should not turn people into passive consumers. It should turn civilization into a giant playground for human potential. The tragedy would be building godlike machines and still forcing people to beg for rent. The miracle would be using them to finally let humans breathe.

Bouncing back and forth between GPT-Image-2 and Nano Banana Pro is very hard to retain the exact likeness or am I just crazy? Do these two people seem like the same person? Is it just the lighting that is throwing me off?

Even though I'm an expert in cinematography, with AI I always come back to an IRL look. I think it's because AI has been able to make random pretty images for a long time, but it's struggled with believable reality, and I like to push limits. Sora was the first model to get close, but this is Seedance 2.0.

@tealou Maybe you need to go analog then, support your local music venue, go to your local bookstore that's not a megacorp, watch a play, volunteer in the community etc. AI is coming for everything digital

Now Claude has the combined knowledge of every specialist on earth, instantly available for $20 a month. What exactly are we supposed to tell kids to major in when every technical skill is just a prompt away?
