We are progressing on all ends. Received moulded samples of rounded lids. Will get a final cardboard packaging sample in the coming days. Fine-tuning button colours in the App MVP. Soon silkscreened lid samples...
@BitsagaRob Don’t forget to mention us as soon to be best practice tamper-evident tool for peace of mind self-sovereignty. Couple of weeks n we launch.
I've spent years helping people secure serious Bitcoin positions.
The same questions keep coming up. The same mistakes keep being made. And there's nowhere to discuss this stuff without the noise.
Fixing that with something new launching very soon!

Next to testing the hardware, we are also progressing with our assembly setup. This adaptor holds the tray to fill in the beads in an elevated state to be able to flip tray and lid easily to add the screw. 💡
Today we learned what happens when a lid is pressed into the jar without twisting. Our first impression is that either the lid never gets tight (as twisting tightens) or it gets stuck with the jar and cannot be opened again without heavy gear that would likely damage the material from high torque application.
Also the fingerprint changes particularly from the jumps of the threads which we'll show in the reply to this post.
We have started with first vibration tests. Vibrations occur on ships and also during road- and air transportation.
In a 2h window all looks good so far, also when the lid is nod closed with full force. We either see no or marginal changes to the fingerprint.
Learning to be continued...
Two 7yolds trying to open the @entropyseal collectively to get to the candy. They didn’t manage in 20minutes. We will test this further to get a stand on how childproof the entropyseal might be.
@My1xT Parents that have drugs like sleeping pills at home can store them in it for peace of mind that a single child cannot open it easily. Once the kids get older they can open it, but then the parents know the kids were messing with their drugs. This seems like a valid use case.
@frazzledrip7 Thanks Alex. It’s a security feature that one cannot heat the polycarbonate to get soft without forever sealing the entropyseal with a block of styrofoam.
@entropyseal I wouldn't quite call pushing it as impact as an impact iirc usually is a short potentially very large spike in acceleration (or deceleration) leading to a short burst of energy that's annoying to deal with.
