An Alberta man says a WestJet flight attendant made a humiliating comment about his weight during a Christmas Eve flight to Mazatlán, Mexico. Dave Rogers, a 23-year military veteran, says the flight was normal until garbage collection at the end. When he held up two cans of soda for collection, the attendant reportedly gestured at his stomach and said “two?” Then puffed his cheeks, gestured a big stomach, reached in to tap his stomach, and said, “That’s the result.” He reported the incident to WestJet, which apologized but said no compensation could be offered due to lack of evidence. Never used to see this happening in trucking, now it’s all that happens in trucking. Everytime a person shares a road with a semi now they are risking their lives. If poopjeet truckers are legal, drunk driving should be legal.

Very cool to see this post - I hauled a lot of proppant into that location. Did a few big ones over on the Deer River side of it as well. Fort Nelson was an awesome place to work out of 🤘🏻
