theaustralian.com.au/science/farmed… Health experts are concerned that salmon isn't as healthy as it's been advertised as. Time for FSANZ to take a closer look, and by closer look we mean **very** independent testing - buy it off the shelf.

Salmon farming is big business in Tassie and the industry is set to grow even bigger, with the three major salmon farmers getting the green light to expand into Storm Bay. But does the cost of that expansion come with an environmental price tag?

Huonville this afternoon with the Bushfire Recovery Coordinator Michael Stevens and Jacquie Petrusma to meet with Mayor and amazing team volunteers at the evacuation centre and animal refuge at Ranelagh. A wonderful example of community spirit & resilience in challenging times.

#GellRiver #Tasmanian #WorldHeritage #Bushfire Sad to say @TasFireService map now shows much of Denison Range covered by fire ground, including string of glacial lakes. This is precious wilderness, valued by UNESCO. We must hear from Govt on how this happened. Not later. Now.

Climate change is the number 1 issue. We worry about giving our kids a decent education and we work hard to leave them some money or assets. We need to leave them a liveable planet. Next election, vote for your kids’ & grandkids’ future, so they have one
Jane Caro@JaneCaro

I know this is a hopeless tweet but I worry endlessly about climate change. Particularly when I look at my grandchildren. Will we be the generation that pass on a world beyond saving to our descendants?
