@jkm222 Commercially farmed pork in NZ carries a VERY low risk for parasites. We haven’t had a case of trichinella from farmed pork in decades. Parasites in wild venison are very uncommon too bc of our relatively isolated ecosystem

@jkm222 I live in New Zealand and I eat our eggs, pork, lamb, venison, beef raw with no problems. I would never eat chicken raw (or rare) in NZ though, but I have in Japan (and it was delicious)

@ContraPoints Oh also hot tip with fenugreek leaves - if you toast them a little bit in a hot, dry pan and then break them up by rubbing them between your hands it really brings out the flavour

@ContraPoints Sous vide is not really good for stewing meat like bone-in cuts of goat - it would take literally days to cook. Try using a pressure cooker - reduces the cooking time from 3-4 hours to less than an hour and itll come out super tender and delicious. Also hell yeah fenugreek leaves

@ANGELBABYBITTY Uhhh I just forced myself to do it even though I hated it for like .. 6 months and eventually my reward pathways recognised the pattern between working out and feeling good. Having someone to go with helps as well. Also tracking progress (number go up feels good)
