Analysts who say DTB is undervalued based only on its PB ratio miss out on an important metric called justified PB ratio A bank can have a low PB justified by a low ROE If you are buying 100% equity in the bank, regardless of how low the PB is, if it also has a low ROE, it offsets the notion that it is undervalued.
