@troublemanke @mungaits Exactly. Kwa family we have a unit with bedsitters those are the worst at paying rent. Leave house worse off and have to spend more cash to get them in shape. Very high turnover too.

One person’s opportunity can be another’s limitation. I’m transitioning from healthcare into the banking and finance space. After 4.5 years of utilizing my BSN, I’ve realized nursing practice is no longer aligned with my long-term goals,regardless of the higher pay.I can't do it now even with a promise of generous pay. I’ll be heading back to campus next year to pursue a BCom (Accounting) now that I am retired at 30. This move isn’t driven solely by employability concerns, ( story na kupata kazi is not my concern) but by a genuine interest in understanding money, financial systems, and how to make capital work efficiently. For me, it’s about building financial intelligence and aligning my career with what I truly enjoy:working with numbers.

Instead, they bought 700 cows and invested nearly 12 million shillings into an industry they were still learning. Then the rains didn’t come, hundreds of cows died, others were sold at throwaway prices and only a fraction of the capital was recovered.

@Nyandia_G Would be keen to see who actually uses any of the mentioned Apps. As a farmer, I find that these App were not made with the farmer in mind. Mostly I install the Apps and uninstall immediately! Even for farmer profiling & data collection, we still use Kobo & the likes.

There’s MULTIPLE AI tools developed by KALRO (Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization) through the years that are KEY to such: 1. KALRO Selector recommends the best crop varieties, pastures, or livestock breeds for specific regions based on GPS. This was the one that for me and most opened up the world of Dragon fruits, Pomegranates and other exotic fruits as children of farmers. 2. KALRO KAOP Weather: Provides real-time weather forecasts and agro-advisories based on satellite data. 3. KALRO TIMPs: Focuses on Technologies, Innovations, and Management Practices (TIMPs) for farming, featuring step-by-step procedures. 4. Know Your Farmer (KYF) / Agripreneur Platform:Designed for youth and agripreneurs to manage farmer profiling, agricultural business initiatives, and data collection. Whenever I train AI, I do my best to always speak on and demonstrate local AI tools which are I believe in the tens or hundreds. Check guys like Performeter Agribusiness with their Cashcow and other Cow Apps. Sophie Bot- The Siri for Sexual and Reproductive health for teens and youth, Jacaranda Maternity who do a brilliant way of tracking the health of Moms to be. Etc etc
