What I don't get is that people use #SpecialNeeds as an insult. I saw this on Instagram and people were calling the person out on it, but then they tried to justify their use. It's so wrong. People need to stop using it as an insult everywhere online & IRL. #cureforignorance

My wife's mum works in a charity shop. People haggle with her all the time. Yesterday a woman wanted a dress, probably originally £60. It was selling for £5. Her: Can you make it £3? MIL: I'd need to get our manager Her: Go on then. I need new clothes because I'm going to Antigua

I can't even with people who will shove their beliefs down your throat but get angry at you exsisiting. (Context: atheist vegan relative buys material of their beleif as a *gift* but dislikes us for being a religious household and celebrating our holidays in religous ways)

There is a pain gap for women and it is real. And for Black women it is far worse.

I've prolly missed some joke or something here. But straight up, my experience in loads of different sports from 3-14 the hetro girls were more aggressive and frequent. I was told there would be queer girls of my age, and I was disappointed, loads of gay boys and hetro girls.

Aggressive lesbians were never the issue in sports for me, aggressive hetero girls so much more dangerous: -down to cheat way more -obsessing over the dumb boys -their parents focusing on them being hetro And old men who refused to get their eyes checked & allowed the cheating.

In 2000, Mattel sued MCA, the recording company of the band Aqua, over the song ‘Barbie Girl’ and the use of a shade of pink, trademarked by Mattel. MCA sued Mattel for calling them a ‘bank robber’. The judge dismissed both cases concluding, ‘The parties are advised to chill’.

@RebeccaCNReid My mum couldn't breastfed, like many in our family, and as a baby born with disabilities (ASD and other physical) and I was bottled fed, I also got 8 GCSES and 3 BTECs with minimal studying and many sick days. Biased reporting like this makes people feel entitled to rip at others

@emmerdale I really hope Cathy's gone to visit her big brother Scott, and he'll come back with Cathy and potentially Jean. Be interesting to show her family support other then Dad trying with Bullying Brenda and Wendy. Let's not forget Scott survived his first 20-ish years with Viv.

it’s really weird whenever you get an Autism diagnosis because the people who bullied you for being things like ‘too sensitive’ and ‘gullible’ now either have to feel remorse because it turns out you weren’t weird at all, you were just disabled or they accept they’re an ableist
