What is the point of the US deploying Dark Eagle hypersonic missile against Iran? None, and it makes no sense, and no special issue here. Dark Eagle is the most expensive existing missile battery: $2.7 billion for the first operational battery (includes 4 launchers with 8 missiles total, support vehicles, operations centre, training, etc.). For what? The Tomahawk costs 2 million, and the interception is none. Also, no justification for the speed at which a target is hit, particularly a very cheap Iranian launcher. So, this is only gaslighting.
