Yesterday at the Equal Voice Gala, Canada's feminist Prime Minister received enthusiastic applause as he spoke about our need to add women to better politics. He also highlighted our nation-defining affordable childcare plan, which has allowed more women to enter the workforce.

We need more women in politics and at decision-making tables. Because throughout our country’s history, progress has been made when women’s voices have been heard. To everyone at @EqualVoiceCA who is committed to making that happen: Thank you. Let’s keep working on that together.

I have no doubt that women will transform politics for the better, improving the health of our democracy. We just need to support women who are in politics & help get many more get elected. #AddWomenChangePolitics
