@er_sec He was at Tranmere six years ago and hasn't worked as a manager since. There might be the odd examples of managers who have struggled in the lower leagues, had time as a coach, then come back and succeeded at a higher level, but who? Other than 'he's here', no case for him.

@JamieSmithSport Revisionism is one of the worst things in football. Yes, Parker has had an awful season, but he still did very well the season before. I've seen a comment suggesting we only got promoted because Sheffield Utd have bottled it. 🙄

I'm enjoying the new narrative some fans are spinning that Burnley were somehow "lucky" to get promoted last season with 100 points, two games lost all season and 16 goals conceded in 46 games. Total fluke imo! #twitterclarets
