The Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room is open as a public installation displaying all 3.5 million pages of the released and partially redacted Epstein files, printed and bound into 3,437 volumes.
This shouldn’t just stay in NYC. Take it on the road.
Voyager 1 is about to cross the line no human creation has crossed.
One light-day from Earth. 16 billion miles of cold nothing.
49 years of real travel for what light does in 24 hours.

Sometimes you just need to talk about something not for sympathy or solutions but to take away its power by letting the truth of it be heard
What’s spoken out loud no longer sits so heavily in the shadows.
That, in itself, is a quiet kind of healing
The force awakens in newborn stars.
Hubble captured some cosmic "lightsabers" far, far away. These are actually young stellar jets, colliding at fast speeds with nearby gas and dust.
Happy Star Wars Day from the Hubble team!
I just want to point out....
The amount of money the United States has spent on war in the last 67 days, is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. So the real question is never can we afford it, it's what we choose to prioritize.
In news that will get very little coverage, Mariska Hargitay's "End the Backlog Campaign" achieves rape kit reform in ALL 50 states, DC, and Puerto Rico.
It's women who are going to save us. Thank you Mariska Hargitay.

A camera. On a robot. On Mars.
Built by humans on a planet 140 million miles away, launched on a rocket, landed using a sky crane, and now driving across an alien desert taking pictures so detailed you can count the rocks.
100 years ago, your great-grandparents thought airplanes were a miracle.
You are scrolling past Mars on your phone.

Protecting your peace

Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
