@Kirsten_Tanis1 @sam80797021 @startkyIeorton Congratulations, that is officially the longest list of cope I have seen out of Hammond, which is honestly an accomplishment. Blame the cold ('Iceman' froze?), blame the receivers, blame the fact that you picked the 4th best QB in your class first overall. Any excuse for Caleb

And what temperature was the CAR-LAR playoff game played at? An unseasonably warm 73 degrees in Charlotte at kickoff which dropped to a still balmy 61 degrees by the game’s end 😂 Could it be that the lower production & lower scoring of the CHI-LAR game is a direct result of a football basically frozen solid being moved and thrown on a frozen field? It was 12 degrees that game, but with the wind chill it was -5 degrees off of Lake Michigan which was frozen a mile out along the shore You can’t be serious trying to compare offensive output between these two games in vastly different weather, over -50 degrees (-70 with wind chill) apart LMAO Stafford had less than a 50% completion rate and zero TD passes. Caleb had 2 TDs and 3 picks. Both threw for 258 yards. Including OT. The ball was hard to throw, and hard to catch, in very windy, swirling conditions with flurries. Honestly, two of the best offenses with two QBs with among the Top 5 strongest arms did very well to generate what they did. Many NFL QBs with less arm strength than Stafford & Caleb wouldn’t have fared as well. As for Caleb’s 3 picks, only one was primarily his fault and was basically an arm punt on 4th down. The other two - including the one in OT - were anticipatory throws where the receiver ran the wrong route on one & didn’t run through the route fast enough and at the correct angle on the other. Here are the details 1) 4th down but he sails this throw. 2) Loveland runs the wrong opt route allowing underneath coverage to drop on the throw. 3) DJ slows/doesn't round off his route. So you can say by the stat sheet Bryce played better. That’s fine. He also wasn’t slinging a frozen ball. And he generally throws much shorter passes with less explosives. And he had 1 TD and 1 pick. And only 7 more yards passing in 60+ degree weather than Caleb had in -20 with wind chill and OT In Charlotte, even Stafford had 3 TDS and over 50 more passing yards than he did in CHI And the Bears didn’t almost win just because their defense was good & yours wasn’t. The Bears defense was not as good as Carolina’s, apart from takeaways last year. They did play better than their talent level that day, but with a huge assist from the frigid weather conditions which depressed the offensive output. So it’s not an apples to apples comparison Which is probably why people take that into account. And have spent a lot more time talking about Caleb this offseason than Bryce. Caleb who led his team to win a playoff game as #2 seed and his division — the only division where all four teams had winning record. Bryce led his team to win his division where no team had a winning record

Honestly for Bryce Young purposes I wish I wasn't even a Bears fan bc Panthers dismiss it as bias or trying to win the trade when I've actually just got a history of telling people (especially bears fans) when it's time to stop coping about your young qb struggling

@startkyIeorton Great stuff as always SKO! Loved the tidbit post benching, seems to be the thing a lot of fans cling on to Still can’t get over how the trade changed our franchise. Lucking into the 2nd #1 pick changed everything

Titans fans get way too much of a pass from the football community (especially Panthers fans) for how much shit they were talking after Will Levis’s first two starts

Quick thoughts after the first #Titans open practice this year: - WR Elic Ayomanor has taken a BIG step forward. He’s going to be a difference-maker this season. - RB Nick Singleton is definitely a name to keep an eye on, both this season and for the future. 👀 - QB Cam Ward looked good and made a few impressive tight-window throws. - The offensive line looked noticeably better than last year. - QB Will Levis struggled all day. Other standouts: WR Wan’Dale Robinson, WR Chimere Dike, CB Alontae Taylor, and P Tommy Townsend. #TitanUp ⚔️

@SoBackSports QBs never play QBs, they play opposing teams. Lawrence is in a different stratosphere than Caleb right now

Can you say anything in defense of Bryce Young having the lowest yards per completed pass in the history of the national football league that isn't "Caleb Williams also lost a playoff game yknow". Peyton Manning lost a lot of playoff games I guess Bryce is right up there w him
YRG_sam@sam80797021

@startkyIeorton Shit teams and you lucked out with a good coach. And for the playoff game we also beat Green Bay this season but it was at Lambeau. The bears are decent for the first time in years and they think they drafted the second coming

@SmokingJayTakes @startkyIeorton Wow! We gave you all that and all you could manage was a 3 pt loss to the rams just like us? At least Bryce hung 31 on them (twice). Too bad you picked the 4th best QB in your draft

#Panthers Pro Bowl defensive back Jaycee Horn with his first interception in the year 2026 in Bank of America Stadium. Horn intercepted the pass from … WR Jalen Coker … also *his* first interception thrown.
