We present the structure of BIRC6, an essential Inhibitor of Apoptosis protein (IAP) and hybrid E2/E3 enzyme. IAPs bind & inhibit caspases, and this inhibitory action is relieved by binding of Smac. biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…
