AFL decide the outcome and then make the story fit in tribunal hearings. Yes it was something we don’t want to see. Gleeson says the strike was “quite capable” of causing concussion. I’m not making this up! So we’ve gone from a specific classification table to spitballing. On ANY measure the impact was low to medium. Even if it was classified high it’s only 3 matches. How could it be high impact? AFL decide the narrative and work backwards. Please throw out your Grading Classification Table.

Why does the AFL demand accountability for clubs, players, staff and fans yet do not apply the same standards for themselves. I’ve been banging on about less than acceptable leadership for 2 decades. Chairperson needs a succession plan immediately and unless Dills gets rid of some people who are clearly out of their depth he should accept full responsibility and resign himself at years end.
