@JFreshHockey I never really appreciated how good Lidstrom was until I was older and he was long since retired.

With all our conversations about generational players, etc. I thought it might be interesting to go back and think about who was generally considered to be the top player at each position going back to 1970. This isn't about who /was/ best that year, but what the consensus was.
