I warned y’all back in October about Halo Studios leadership. Yesterday, Halo Studios former art director Glenn Israel revealed why he left the studio last year: He witnessed and was subjected to blacklisting, fraud, rampant favoritism/cronyism and multiple harassment campaigns. He also said, “That in August 2025, the catastrophic mismanagement of Halo Campaign Evolved created an opportunity for senior Halo Studios representatives to temporarily reassign the art team from my unannounced project and falsely characterize my role as "redundant", a plainly retaliatory act.” They move his art team from an unannounced project to Campaign Evolved due to development issues 👀 #Halo




Halo Infinite Elongation Remake. Many maps, including this, were being created by Sperasoft/343 Industries until new leadership forced them to use Forge mode to create new maps and recreate maps that were being developed in Slipspace engine. I’m told this change started in the beginning of 2023 after the major layoffs and 343 abandoned Slipspace engine for Unreal Engine.

The unreleased Forge World canvas for Halo Infinite expanded the map, including a Timberland section. So unfortunate how we didn't get this as it would've served as an amazing platform to begin any map idea on just like Forge World did in Halo Reach. Video credit: Surasia.
