The department is mostly applied micro, and I'll be the old guy in the group of health economists that includes @danieldench1 @MayraPinedaT and Cici McNamara in econ and @lindsbullinger and @AshleyCBradford in the policy school.

It's official. I've accepted a position in the School of Economics at Georgia Tech (@GATechEcon), which has done a ton of hiring in recent years to bring in loads of talent and positive energy. I can't wait to get there.

@causalinf I’ve been using the same 27” iMac since 2011, which I guess is a recommendation for the older 27”.

What are people's thoughts about the new iMac 24" vs the older iMac 27"? The new one is thinner and pretty, but it seems like it's substantially cheaper for the same or similar specs. I thought I'd heard a bad review though of the new one.
