This Kentucky team fought back this season to make it respectable, but Mark Pope will have some pressure on him entering Year 3. And most important aspect will be putting together the roster.

If you're not a great team, at least have great moments. Cats gave #BBN a handful of great moments, which made things fun at times. But this team was always a group of mismatched role players. Hopefully, the staff can construct a roster worthy of Kentucky tradition next year.

In a bit of good news, Otega Oweh (668 points) has surpassed Antonio Reeves (2023-24) for the most single-season points scored by a Kentucky transfer.

Malachi’s hands in this last 4 weeks or so have just been not good. He drops or loses a lot of easy opportunities and it’s been pretty consistent That was a huge missed opportunity that led to a 4 point shift in score

Kentucky needs to upgrade talent at almost every possession next year. And stay healthy. This team just isn’t good.

Kentucky has no elite shooter than can drill big time baskets at any given moment. Must be the first target on Pope’s next team.

@HoopsWeiss UK fan here. Doesn’t bother me. UK didn’t win when they should’ve this year. If they did, we could’ve avoided UF for a round or 2. Goldens a good coach. Arrogant but good. If I was that good, I’d probably be arrogant too.
