Platforms and brands everywhere are focusing on the means (AI) not the ends (assistance with everything you do in the digital world) and it's masking what's going on.
But this is what the tech industry ALWAYS does: fixate on the means while being obtusely blind to the ends.

Do the martech users who don't know SQL realize that just querying tables with SQL is *way* easier than using martech?
Basic SQL is pretty easy and can be learned in minutes. I've never touched a martech platform that was anything but an impenetrable, button-filled mess.
