@jake_gotta Temporarily, I have a 30 minute car commute to work. This is the first time I’ve done something like this, in 23 years. Car dependency is such absolute shit—from being bad for people’s health, to destroying the environment, to being a financial waste—legitimately sickening.

@RobertGarcia End paint as infrastructure and require that fed funds be used for safe bike and ped paths/ways. And, trains. Just look at the state of air travel (SWA these days?) Visit Asia and Europe, ride trains, and come spread the policy and tech.

My 6 year daughter and her mother were struck and dragged by a drunk driver in a pick up truck this morning as they attempted to cross an intersection (on foot) in front of her elementary school. My daughter is ok, but her mother has sustained serious injuries.

#plasticpollution I can’t believe that something like this still exists in the world today.
