Medlock, Jrs HS career is officially over. Next stop EL. In a close loss to Dynamic Prep Medlock Jr showcased the full arsenal. Handled the full court pressure well, got to the rim and FT line, and got his teammates open looks. MSU getting a dawg 😤

@Big10junkie @CanadianYinzer Incoming freshman Carlos Medlock is a 45% high volume 3p shooter. He might be the best shooter since Cassius at msu. Jervis can definitely shoot, avent is good spotting up. 3/4 freshman can shoot, idk where you heard they can’t shoot.

@CanadianYinzer Im so confused as to why Michigan State fans want the best shooter on the team by a mile to transfer somewhere else. He won us a lot of games with his shooting, the incoming freshman class cant shoot, there is definitely a place for his skill set on the team

@CountryMichSt It’s not like there’s a lot of moves that need to be made in order to win a championship. Although those moves haven’t been made these past off seasons because we’re “ethical”

At the end of the day, we just didn’t have the talent. I think Tom Izzo did a great job with this squad & this was their ceiling. Sucks to accept it. Let’s hope that the right moves are made this offseason to make us a national championship contender, but I doubt it.

@SpartanHoops_DK Louisville bigs aren’t good and UConn has looked bad for a while. Ngonba and foster might still be out when we play them. It’s not a bad draw.

Pretty brutal draw for MSU. Duke/Uconn and you likely have to get past a Louisville team that is fourth overall in 3FGA attempts that is super guard oriented to get to the second weekend. Perimeter defense needs to get connected for that one.

@Verbose_Dutch @ACumbow Are you 15’s spokesperson? I don’t feel better because I think he’s mid and wish that we had a starting caliber center. Also if you watched the game there were multiple plays where he didn’t box out and was one of the main reasons UConn out rebounded us.

-Fort can play and needs to play a lot of minutes/get a lot of shots. -Scott looked like he belonged and like someone who should be in the rotation. Really impressed with him tonight. -Ward is gonna be a really good player eventually. -Love Coen but MSU isn’t gonna win many games when he’s getting zero defensive rebounds. -Wonder if Teng would feel a little less pressure coming off the bench. Team needs him to hit shots. -Good game from the Floor General. -Loved Kohler’s energy in the 2H. -Left way too many points at the line. Can’t miss 15 FT’s and expect to beat good teams. -Need to clean up the defense and rebounding. I don’t expect this to be a great offensive team so they are gonna need to be good in those areas to be a good team.
