How many would actually question it? I got that email from kraken and immediately disputed it and asked for a review. Took a few days but I got the form

@mantis_oc @soprano181 Yup. You nailed it. I complained and told them I do need a 1099-da. They opened a support case. Today, with no email, my form magically appeared in my documents folder. I guarantee they decided to tell everyone they don't qualify and only provide it for those who dispute it.

@mantis_oc @soprano181 Krakens AI gave me an FAQ saying only transactions made in the Krak app are reportable. Shady af. I escalated it to a human and questioned. The reply: "Regarding receiving a 1099-DA if you only sell in Kraken, I will have to escalate this to our team for further clarification. 🤦

Consistent with IRS guidance, only gross proceeds will be reported on your Form 1099-DA, and accordingly, these gross proceeds on Form 1099-DA is not your gain or loss. Right now, you can download full transaction information and use a third-party tax calculator such as CoinTracker or Koinly.

We’ve cut taxes SEVEN times since I took office, and I’ve called to raise our minimum wage every year I’ve been Governor.   I know folks are struggling with higher costs caused by Donald Trump’s failed economic policies.   If we want to get serious about helping Pennsylvanians afford housing, health care, and more, then we need to raise the minimum wage and help them earn a decent living.

Housing prices and rent are too damn high. That’s why my budget proposes a new Critical Infrastructure Fund to help build new homes across our Commonwealth and ensure more families can achieve the American Dream of an affordable home, right here in Pennsylvania.
