@DougMadory @bgptools @kentikinc Did you see the packetloss on the Tata network last 24 hrs ? For instance towards Mauritius ? 😳

Partial de-peering between Cogent (AS174) and Tata (AS6453) yesterday, first reported by @bgptools.
Here's @kentikinc's view of the drop in traffic over 174_6453 beginning around 18:00 UTC on May 16.

(The previous TATA-Cogent Full depeering post was wrong) It appears that TATA-Cogent have partially depeered in APAC. Cogent can't see APAC (notably India) routes anymore. It seems based on statements Cogent has initiated this depeering (Some EU/US routes seem to still be find)

❗ Attn. @GTTCOMM, action is required from you - please read on.
Spamhaus threat researchers are observing that two ASNs you are connecting to the internet are displaying signals that they are being used for bulletproof hosting:
AS394711, which is allocated to Limenet LLC, and,
AS42624, which is allocated to Simple Carrier LLC.
As a result, all IP ranges announced by AS394711 and AS42624 have been listed in one of our protective datasets: DROP (spamhaus.org/blocklists/do-…). This has serious implications, as a number of global mail exchanges, DNS resolvers, routers and firewalls will drop all connections associated with any of these IPs.
We have sent notifications of this issue to your trust and safety desk, but we haven’t had a response. The details of the issue can be found here:
AS394711: check.spamhaus.org/listed/?search…
AS42624: check.spamhaus.org/listed/?search…
Please can you have someone from your team reach out to us so we can work together to resolve this issue and ensure escalations don’t occur, which would result in further @GTTCOMM network space being listed. We’re here to help you.
