It was a privilege to spend time with the Landmans. I'm always so grateful to patients and families facing immense health challenges who are willing (and able) to share their struggles. Especially when they're actively processing a tough diagnosis and there's so much uncertainty.

I missed the second anniversary of my first story about covid, which was published Jan. 21, 2020. I feel like I've aged about 80 years in that time. But also like I'm a pretty healthy 130ish-year-old, I guess.
