@NoContextHumans When you open a pomegranate, open it in a large bowl filled with water. If you don’t do this, inevitably the juice will jump out at you and stain and it’s very stubborn! Wear goggles when cutting onions! Put a piece of bread in your brown sugar jar to keep it soft!

15 years ago today I won the Newcomer award at the Edinburgh fringe. I won £5K and paid it off my car loan. I had excellent friends with me whose faces I had to check in case I’d heard the announcement wrong. I ran into the street to get signal to ring my then boyfriend now husband. I’m a week from starting my 7th tour. SHEESH.

Tips for Ed Fringe: 1. Go up to people flyering (especially nervous looking ones) and ask them for a flyer and then ask to explain the show. 2. Watch their face light up. 3. Go and see the show (if you can). 4. Post about the show. Genuinely the best way to enjoy #edfringe

Sad about this. I'm self-funding my #Fringe run, no promoter. Due to the cost I only bought a handful of poster boards, incl. one big one, wide enough to really show off the beautiful poster design. Anyway, some other act has glued their poster over part of it. They didn't ask.
