@wildestdreamng @Ticketmaster I was 600ish too and thought nice im getting tickets. Get through and only 800+ dollar resale tickets were available in the nosebleeds. I saw her at the Eras tour. I guess that’s good enough.

Its official! This Monday some central Paris streets will be open to people The implementation of the ZTL intends to “free up space in the city center taken up by cars & hand it back to people. The measure is also expected to clean up the air in Paris” forbes.com/sites/carltonr…

Great interview with @jen_keesmaat on CBC Front Burner today “There is zero case to be made that bike lanes cause congestion. There's no data, there's no analysis, there's no study that would lead you to that conclusion anywhere in the world” podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/fro…

Amazing to see the streets & alleys of Winnipeg’s exchange district so alive at Nuit Blanche last night. There was so much to explore. #Winnipeg is a beautiful backdrop for art Loved to see so many people out, spilling all over the streets @nbwpg

NEW: Today we've announced exciting new plans to pedestrianise Oxford Street. These plans will transform the experience of Londoners and tourists visiting our world-famous high street - and create one of the finest public spaces in the world. dlvr.it/TDK4lR

Aritzia’s latest campaign captures the cool sophistication of urban cycling. Nice to see everyday transportation depicted in a North American context without sporting gear. “Meet the wardrobe for the art film called Your Life. Then go look ethereal on a bike somewhere” @ARITZIA

The promise of the car is a myth, and we cannot stay stuck between two worlds. It’s time to reclaim our freedom, our sense of adventure in our everyday lives by embracing the walkable, cycling city. To do so, we need to embrace a fundamental redesign of our streets. Anti-cycling advocates are right about one thing: in walkable cities, pedestrians don’t follow rules. They can move informally, with ease. That’s true freedom.

I wrote this six years ago. "We designed our cities for driving, and people are dying." Still relevant in Toronto, and most Canadian cities. Not so in London. Not so in Paris. These cities have undergone a transformative change. They have grabbed the bull by the horns and prioritized people and mobility over cars. When will we do the same? theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Had the opportunity this spring to try out bike share in NYC & Boston Overall great experience. Dock & unlock with your phone, generally easy to find docking stations & the bikes were easy to ride Big con in NYC was the 30min time limit. Had to constantly dock. Boston was 2hrs

This may SEEM nice online, BUT, Winnipeg is a deep winter city. Even if the lane is kept clear of snow AND ice, impossible, the -60 with the windchill will keep cyclists in their cars. Such infrastructure is an absolute waste. We have a LOT of green space to enjoy cycling in.
Erin Riediger@erinriediger

Nothing is more relaxing than riding home in a new protected bike lane. It completely changes the feel of the street. My dream is that one day there will be a safe way to ride all the way down Wellington in #Winnipeg .
