أثناء ما نحن بنوثق في قصص النازحين الذين تستضيفهم مدينة الأُبيّض،
استوقفتني فرحة الأطفال ولعبهم… وكأن شيئًا لم يكن!!
وكان من بينهم طفلة نادتني بكل حماس
يلا نصور "بيتنا"
توقفت طويلًا لاختيارها كلمة بيت بدلًا عن خيمة أو كوخ أو أي توصيف آخر.
ثم أدركت أن الأطفال يتعلمون أسرع منا نحن الكبار،
كيف يحمون ذاكرتهم من الانكسار
وكيف يتجاوزون الصدمات.
أطفال حوصروا بالحرب،
وشاهدوا انتهاكات الد،عم السر؛يع بأعينهم
في قراهم وبلداتهم الوادعة الممتدة على سهول كردفان الغرة
ورغم ذلك لم يغرقوا في الخوف…
وإنما أعادوا تسمية الأشياء
ليس لأن هذه الطفلة أنكرت ما فقدته من أمان واطمئنان
بل لأنه تجاوز مؤقت… حتى لا تنكسر.
